1. Zero-tolerance standard
Spot prohibits users from creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, promoting, or distributing content or behavior involving CSAE or CSAM. This applies to all user-generated content and interaction surfaces in Spot, including Bites, photos, captions, comments, place submissions, reports, profile content, and any other community contribution.
2. Prohibited behavior
Spot prohibits, removes, and may report content or behavior involving:
- CSAM or any sexualized depiction of a minor;
- grooming, coercion, sextortion, trafficking, or attempted exploitation of a child;
- requests for, links to, instructions for obtaining, or attempts to trade CSAM;
- accounts, comments, captions, images, or reports that facilitate child exploitation;
- evading moderation or re-uploading previously removed child-safety violating content.
3. Reporting inside Spot
Users can report unsafe or inappropriate user content through Spot's in-app reporting tools, including photo and Bite reporting flows. Users may also contact the Spot team at spotteam.support@gmail.com.
4. Review and enforcement
When Spot receives a report or otherwise obtains knowledge of suspected CSAE or CSAM, the Spot Team may remove the content, restrict or disable the account, preserve relevant records when appropriate, and take other safety actions needed to protect users and comply with applicable law.
5. Legal compliance and escalation
Spot will act in accordance with applicable child safety laws and regulations. Confirmed CSAM or credible child-safety threats may be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), law enforcement, or the relevant regional authority where required or appropriate.
6. Child safety point of contact
Google Play or other safety partners may contact Spot about CSAE or CSAM concerns at spotteam.support@gmail.com. This contact is monitored for safety, moderation, and compliance issues.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first. Spot's support email is for app safety reports and moderation follow-up.
